The Brim Report
Hats, caps, the people who wore them, and the stories they carried.
Hat Report Press
Hat Report Press is an independent imprint created for books that grow out of curiosity, research, photography, history, and storytelling.
Some projects begin with a question. Others begin with an object, an old photograph, a piece of advertising, or a story that refuses to go away. The goal is simple: make books that are well researched, visually interesting, enjoyable to read, and worth keeping.

Denim on Top
A Historical and Visual Look at Denim Headwear
Denim on Top explores the history of denim hats and caps, from workwear and military use to baseball caps, fashion, contemporary makers, and the many ways denim has been shaped, worn, faded, reused, and reinterpreted.
The book combines historical research, archival material, advertising, photographs, fabric swatches, construction details, and contemporary examples to tell a story that has rarely been examined on its own.
Coming soon from Hat Report Press.
The Last Voice East
A remote island. An abandoned communications network. A voice that should no longer be there.
The Last Voice East is a suspense novel set across the Pacific, following a mystery that begins with an unexpected radio transmission and grows into something far larger.
Available in paperback and Kindle editions.
About Hat Report Press
Hat Report Press grew out of The Brim Report and a long-standing interest in hats, clothing, photography, history, and the stories attached to ordinary objects.
The imprint provides a home for both nonfiction and fiction projects. Subjects may change from one book to another, but the approach remains the same: careful research where facts matter, strong visual presentation where images matter, and plain, readable storytelling throughout.
More books are in development.
